Tyler Freeman Back From Illness on Tuesday
Tyler Freeman (illness) is serving as the designated hitter and will bat leadoff for the Rockies for Tuesday's tilt at Coors Field against the visiting St. Louis Cardinals and right-hander Erick Fedde. Freeman will return to the field after missing the last two games while being under the weather. Despite only having one home run in 170 at-bats in his first year in Colorado, the 26-year-old will have some DFS sleeper appeal out of the leadoff spot at hitter-friendly Coors Field against a very hittable pitcher. Freeman is getting it done in 56 games for the last-place Rockies this year, slashing .324/.401/.435 with a career-best .836 OPS, 15 RBI, 25 runs and 12 stolen bases in 197 plate appearances. The former second-rounder of the Cleveland Guardians has gone 19-for-56 (.339) with seven doubles, four RBI and three steals in 13 games in July.
