The San Diego Padres recalled outfielder Travis Jankowski from Triple-A El Paso before Sunday's game against the New York Mets. Jankowski's return to the big leagues is a result of outfielder Wil Myers (oblique) trip back to the disabled list. Jankowski entered as part of a double switch Sunday and recorded a hit in two at-bats. The 26-year-old was sizzling in the minors with a .363 average and .452 on-base percentage. Jankowski has been up with the Padres since 2015 but failed to make the roster due to the Friars deep outfield. He should get a few starts per week until outfielder Hunter Renfroe (elbow) returns. Outside of teams desperate for speed, Jankowski is not a fantasy candidate. He has 36 stolen bags in 192 career games in the majors.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
