Travis Etienne Jr. a Low-End RB2 Against 49ers
Jacksonville Jaguars running back Travis Etienne Jr. has been a bright spot in fantasy so far in what has otherwise been a struggling offense. Entering the season, the Jaguars were expected to have a clear passing attack hierarchy and unclear rushing hierarchy, but it has actually been the other way around. Etienne Jr. has taken full control of the lead back role after Tank Bigsby was traded to the Eagles. He had a huge Week 1 and has tapered off since, but he has maintained high volume, giving him an RB2 floor. The 49ers have a good rushing defense this season, but volume is king for running backs in fantasy. Etienne Jr. should be slightly downgraded this week, but managers should still feel fine starting him.
