Tony Pollard May Get Work Out Of The Slot
3 years agoDallas Cowboys running back Tony Pollard has been a semi-reliable fantasy option throughout the years. He finished 2021 with 130 rushing attempts for 719 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught 39 receptions for 337 yards. However, despite being relegated to the No. 2 spot on the depth chart behind Ezekiel Elliott, the 25-year-old may get an increased role this season, with recent rumblings suggesting he might get consistent work catching passes out of the slot. While Pollard is likely to take over as the workhorse once again if another ailment limits Elliott, it appears he could be much more than just an insurance policy in 2022-23.
