Cody Durden Suffers Second-Round Submission Loss
Cody Durden lost his third fight in a row on Saturday when he took on Allan Nascimento on the UFC Vegas 110 main card opener. Durden accepted this fight on a week's notice as a last-minute replacement against Nascimento, so he came out swinging in the opening round, giving no respect to Nascimento. However, things started to swing in Nascimento's favor in the second round after he cracked Durden with a sneaky counter elbow. Nascimento sank in an anaconda choke, and while Durden did his best to defend, he was forced to tap out. In 8:13, Durden landed a takedown and 57 significant strikes.
