Michael Rasmussen Ruled Out for One Week
Detroit Red Wings forward Michael Rasmussen (undisclosed) is expected to miss one week, Ted Kuflan of the Detroit News reports. Due to an undisclosed injury, Rasmussen sat out Saturday's overtime loss to the Dallas Stars. He will likely miss at least three more games. The Red Wings have also recently lost Dylan Larkin (leg), Andrew Copp (lower body), and Michael Brandsegg-Nygard (undisclosed). While the latter is considered day-to-day, Larkin and Copp have been ruled out for two weeks. Due to the injury situation, J.T. Compher and Marco Kasper have moved up in the lineup. Meanwhile, David Perron rejoined the action on Saturday as a member of the second line.
