Connor McDavid Surpasses 1,100 Career Points
Edmonton Oilers center Connor McDavid surpassed the 1,100-point mark with two assists in Monday's 3-2 loss against the St. Louis Blues. The Oilers captain reached 1,100 career regular-season points with a power-play assist late in the first period and produced another helper in an even-strength situation early in the season. Playing in his 726th career game, McDavid became the fourth-fastest player in history to reach 1,100 points. During his 11th year in the league, McDavid has amassed 19 points (three goals, 16 assists) in 14 contests. Five of his points have come in his first two November outings, a sign that the three-time MVP has found his stride after a somewhat slow start to the year.
