Winnipeg Jets center Morgan Barron (undisclosed) is considered week-to-week. He suffered an undisclosed injury in Saturday's win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. Barron didn't practice on Monday and will miss his first game of the season on Tuesday night when the Jets visit the Los Angeles Kings. While his main strength is his physical play, Barron has improved offensively this season, registering six points (three goals, three assists) in 12 games. He ranks fifth on the team with 20 hits. Barron's exit from the lineup opens up a spot for Adam Lowry (hip), who is expected to make his season debut against the Kings.--Taavi Pailk
