Tim Locastro Tests Positive For COVID-19
4 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Tim Locastro tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday night and will be out for 10 days unless there has been a false positive, according to manager Torey Lovullo. Locastro is feeling good and currently has no symptoms. The 28-year-old is expected to have a decent-sized role for the team this year, either as the starting center fielder or as a versatile backup. He hit .290 with two home runs and four stolen bases in 33 games for Arizona in 2020. It's a setback no doubt during camp as he competes for a starting gig, but Locastro still has plenty of time to get ready for the start of the regular season. He could be worth a look in NL-only leagues, but only if he is playing regularly.
