2 years agoThe Houston Texans interviewed New England Patriots tight ends coach Nick Caley for their offensive coordinator position on new head coach DeMeco Ryans' staff on Wednesday, according to a source. Caley is a rising young coach. The Texans also interviewed San Francisco 49ers passing-game coordinator Bobby Slowik and Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers coach Troy Walters for the same position. Caley's contract with the Patriots is about to expire, and he also interviewed for the offensive coordinator jobs with the Patriots and New York Jets. The 40-year-old joined New England's staff as an offensive assistant in 2015. He has coached tight ends since 2017.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
