Teddy Bridgewater Unlikely To Play In Week 11
4 years agoCarolina Panthers quarterback Teddy Bridgewater (knee) is unlikely to start in Week 11 against the Lions after he was limited in practice the last two days, according to sources. It's not official yet, but fantasy managers shouldn't expect Bridgewater to play after suffering an MCL sprain to his knee in the Week 10 loss to the Buccaneers. If he cannot log a full practice on Friday, it will likely be P.J. Walker under center for Carolina this Sunday. Detroit's defense is nothing special, but Walker would merely be a low-end QB2 for those in superflex leagues if Bridgewater is inactive. Expect Carolina to lean heavily on running back Mike Davis with Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) missing another game, making Davis an upside RB1 in an excellent matchup.
