7 months agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani (finger) is expected to be out of the lineup again on Thursday after the game against the Twins was rained out on Wednesday night. Ohtani left the game early on Monday after being hit in the finger by a pitch, but he returned and played on Tuesday. It seems as though the Angels just want to get him some rest. Left-hander Martin Perez is also the scheduled starter on Thursday. The injury shouldn't keep Ohtani out past Thursday. The Japanese star has 13 hits in 52 at-bats (.250) with two home runs and eight RBI after getting a late start to the season after having Tommy John surgery last October. Get him back into your lineups if he is back in there on Friday.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
