Sean McVay Will Return To Rams In 2023
2 years agoLos Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay informed members of the organization on Friday that he will remain as the head coach for the 2023 season, according to sources. McVay left some doubt as to whether he would return after his season-ending news conference last weekend, but he quickly made a decision to come back for another year after LA disappointed by going 5-12 a year after winning the Super Bowl. Injuries to quarterback Matthew Stafford, wide receiver Cooper Kupp and defensive tackle Aaron Donald didn't help. McVay was the youngest head coach in the NFL when he was hired by the Rams in 2017 before his 31st birthday, and the team has gone 67-41, including the playoffs, in his six seasons. The Rams have won a Super Bowl ring, three NFC West titles and two NFC championships in his tenure.
