Indianapolis Colts head coach Shane Steichen said that newly acquired cornerback Sauce Gardner (concussion) is in the league's concussion protocol, but he will practice on Wednesday, according to Mike Chappell of FOX 59. The Colts gave up a lot to secure the services of the All-Pro corner at the trade deadline on Tuesday, giving up receiver Adonai Mitchell and two first-round picks. Gardner is still in the concussion protocol despite coming off a bye last week, but the fact that he's going to practice on Wednesday means he has a chance to make his debut with the Colts this Sunday in Berlin, Germany, against the Atlanta Falcons. The Colts are 7-2 and tied for the best record in the AFC heading into Week 10, but their secondary has been a weak spot so far this year. Gardner will definitely shore up their secondary as one of the best cover corners in the NFL.--Keith Hernandez
