5 months agoBaltimore Orioles general manager Mike Elias said that first baseman Ryan Mountcastle, the team's top prospect per MLB Pipeline, needs more time in the minor leagues. The 22-year-old has been tearing it up at Triple-A Norfolk, hitting .323/.351/.530 with seven home runs and 31 RBI in 40 games, and the team will start looking at him in the outfield, too. Mountcastle should make his big league debut this year and should be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues already. He could make an impact for the lowly Orioles and for those in mixed leagues immediately.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
