Phillip Dorsett Headed To Jaguars
4 years agoThe Jacksonville Jaguars signed free-agent wide receiver Phillip Dorsett to an undisclosed deal on Monday. Dorsett was with the Seattle Seahawks last year, but he never took the field after injuring his right foot in training camp and being placed on Injured Reserve. Before 2020, Dorsett spent three years with the New England Patriots, posting 73 receptions on 114 targets for 881 yards and eight touchdowns in 45 total games (eight starts). He spent the first two years of his career with the Indianapolis Colts after being selected 29th overall in the first round in 2015. The Jaguars are in need of receiver depth behind DJ Chark Jr. and Laviska Shenault Jr. with Keelan Cole, Chris Conley and Dede Westbrook all free agents.
