Patrick Bailey Placed on 10-Day Injured List
Patrick Bailey (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list on Wednesday. Bailey was scratched from the lineup ahead of Tuesday's contest with neck spasms. He has now been diagnosed with a neck strain and will miss at least a week of action. Andrew Knizner will do the catching on Wednesday and figures to see a majority of the time behind the plate while Bailey is out. In a corresponding move, Logan Porter has been recalled from Triple-A and will serve as the backup catcher. Bailey hasn't done enough at the plate to warrant holding through the injury.
