Brian Thomas Jr. (ankle) struggling in 2025 and rolling his ankle late in the game on Sunday, Washington is becoming a must-add in all formats heading into Week 10, as he is looking like the
Trevor Lawrence's go-to guy in the passing game. Even in Week 9 with Thomas Jr. healthy, Washington was the leading receiver in this contest and is looking like a low-end WR2/flex option for Week 10, regardless of Thomas Jr. Week 10 status.

Washington Commanders wide receiver
Luke McCaffrey (shoulder) broke his collarbone on the opening kick return last night, sources tell The Insiders. A possible tough end to a promising season for the 2024 third-round pick, NFL networks' Mike Garafolo reports. McCaffrey had a tough break on Sunday night, as he was injured on the very first play of the game and was quickly ruled out. The second-year player out of Rice University has been enjoying a nice season thus far with three touchdowns and 203 receiving yards, to go along with his 769 kick return yards. Although the length of how long he will be sidelined has not been fully disclosed, McCaffrey will likely land on the IR, and fantasy managers who roster him will want to keep tabs on any updates over the next 12-24 hours. In redraft formats, he can be dropped, as he remains a dynasty stash at this time.

NFL insider Ian Rapoport reported Monday morning that Washington Commanders quarterback
Jayden Daniels (elbow), who left Sunday's loss with his left arm immobilized, suffered a dislocated elbow and will have an MRI today to determine how long he's out, sources say. The belief is it's not as bad as it could've been. But Daniels will miss several games. Additionally, Rapoport reported that the X-rays for Jayden Daniels' left arm were negative, source says. Considering the cart came out for Daniels on Sunday night, the news is encouraging when words like "not as bad as it could've been" are being thrown out. Nonetheless, it appears Daniels will be sidelined indefinitely, and
Marcus Mariota will return under center for the Commanders, limiting the offense's upside for players like
Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and
Deebo Samuel Sr. Mariota can be trusted as a QB2 for those in two-QB or superflex leagues due to his rushing upside.

ESPN Senior NFL Insider, Adam Schefter, reports that the Miami Dolphins are trading edge rusher Jaelan Phillips to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick. This is the third trade the Eagles have made in the past week. They have now added Phillips, as well as cornerbacks Jaire Alexander and
Michael Carter II. Phillips was selected by the Dolphins with the 18th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft and is known to have high-motor, strong pass-rushing skills and high potential. Unfortunately, he has been limited by season-ending injuries, including a torn Achilles tendon in 2023 and an ACL injury in 2024; however, when he has been on the field, he has been effective. Phillips has 26 career sacks and 177 career tackles. In his first two seasons in the NFL (2021 and 2022), he played all 17 games each season and had seven-plus sacks in each year. This move should help the Eagles strengthen their front line and enable them to compete defensively for another NFC East title.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver
Andrei Iosivas caught five of his seven targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's thrilling 47-42 loss to the Chicago Bears. Iosivas has had a relatively quiet season as the Bengals' WR3, but has played a role in the offense over the last five weeks with at least three targets in each of those games. The 26-year-old didn't catch any of his three targets in last week's loss to the Jets, but recorded a similar five-catch for 82 yards on seven targets performance in Week 5 against the Lions when
Jake Browning was still the starter. Iosivas has also notched at least one reception in all but one game this season. The Bengals' offense has been humming with 41-year-old
Joe Flacco as the starter, and on days like Sunday when Flacco attempts 47 passes, there will be opportunities for Iosivas to make plays.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back
Jaylen Warren handled 16 carries for 31 yards and two touchdowns while adding two catches for minus-two yards in Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts. Warren found the end zone twice on the day for the first time in his career, but was bottled up on his touches otherwise. The 16 carries were also tied for the second most Warren had ever had in a game, but it was one of his most inefficient outings as the Colts' run defense shut off rushing lanes. The 27-year-old has established himself as the Steelers' workhorse and a focal point of their offense.
Aaron Rodgers frequently looks for him on checkdowns, where Warren is electric after the catch. Warren should continue to project as a high-end RB2 for fantasy in the coming weeks.

Indianapolis Colts wide receiver
Michael Pittman Jr. caught nine of his 12 targets for 115 yards in Sunday's 27-20 loss at the Pittsburgh Steelers. The Colts' offense was out of sync the entire game, committing a back-breaking six turnovers and averaging a season-low 5.0 yards per play. Pittman benefited from a rare negative game script from the Colts; however, with a season high in receptions, yards, and targets. The 28-year-old has been an integral piece to Indianapolis' historic offense and has bounced back in a big way from his injury-riddled 2024 season. Pittman has caught 52 of 68 targets for 561 yards and six touchdowns in eight games this season. The Colts' WR1 continues to be a draft-day bargain and should remain a high-end fantasy producer for the remainder of the season.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught eight of his nine targets for 129 yards in Sunday night's 38-14 win over the Washington Commanders. Smith-Njigba continues his historic season with his fourth straight game recording at least 120 receiving yards. The 23-year-old superstar joined Hall of Famer Isaac Bruce as the only players under age 25 with 900 or more receiving yards in the first eight games of a season. His connection with quarterback
Sam Darnold has been lethal and has helped lead the Seattle Seahawks to a 6-2 record. Seattle's passing volume is not high, but JSN has consolidated all of the targets and has fully ascended to superstar status. Smith-Njigba will remain a top-three fantasy option in Week 10 against the Arizona Cardinals.

Sam Darnold torched the Washington Commanders' defense in a 38-14 blowout win on Sunday night, completing 21 of 24 pass attempts for 330 yards, four touchdowns, and one interception. Darnold was on fire to start the game, posting a perfect 158.3 passer rating while completing all 16 passes and throwing four touchdowns in the first half. His receivers were running open all night, and he consistently delivered on time and on target. Washington Commanders quarterback
Jayden Daniels (arm) suffered a gruesome left-arm injury in the fourth quarter of the Sunday Night Football game against the Seattle Seahawks in Week 9 and walked off the field with his arm in a brace, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. At the very least, Daniels is going to miss multiple weeks, but just based on how bad it looked, we'd be surprised if he plays again in 2025. Veteran
Marcus Mariota entered the game to replace Daniels and will be in line to start under center for the Commanders for the foreseeable future. Before the unfortunate injury, Daniels went 16-for-22 passing for 153 yards, no touchdowns, and one interception while adding 10 carries for 51 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Check back for updates on Daniels' status on Sunday night and Monday morning after he undergoes testing on his left (non-throwing) arm.

Buffalo Bills defensive end Michael Hoecht (Achilles) suffered a season-ending torn Achilles in Sunday's 28-21 win over the visiting Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9, according to head coach Sean McDermott. Hoecht will end up playing in just two games in 2025 in his first year with the team after missing the first six games of the year while on suspension for violating the league's performance-enhancing drug policy. In his two games played for the Bills, the 28-year-old pass-rusher had five tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. It's a big blow to Buffalo's pass rush the rest of the way, and the Bills will be looking for more contributions from A.J. Epenesa and Javon Solomon next to starting pass-rushers Joey Bosa and Greg Rousseau.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver
Rashee Rice led the team in receiving on Sunday and also found the end zone for the third straight game, this time on the ground. In KC's 28-21 loss on the road to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9, Rice led the team in catches (four), targets (seven), and receiving yards (80) while also carrying the ball twice for six yards and his first rushing touchdown of the year. The 25-year-old continues to be the Chiefs' top offensive weapon despite making his season debut on Oct. 19 in the blowout win over the Las Vegas Raiders. Rice has now scored in all three of his games and has at least 80 receiving yards in two of his three games. In his season debut against the Raiders, the former second-rounder had only 42 receiving yards but found the end zone twice. Rice and the Chiefs will now head into their bye before a big divisional clash in Week 11 versus the Denver Broncos.

Los Angeles Rams running back
Kyren Williams wasn't involved in the passing game at all on Sunday, but he was efficient on the ground in the team's 34-10 victory over the visiting New Orleans Saints in Week 9. Williams had some nice volume in this one, handling a season-high 25 carries for a season-high 113 rushing yards and his third rushing touchdown of the year. It was the 25-year-old's first 100-yard rushing game in 2025. Williams hasn't been all that explosive on the ground for the Rams this year, but it was nice to finally see him top the century mark in a plus matchup with a positive game script all day. The former fifth-rounder has been more of an RB2 for fantasy managers this year in a Rams offense that prefers to air it out with the arm of quarterback
Matthew Stafford. Still, Williams should be considered a must-start in a big Week 10 divisional contest next Sunday versus a banged-up San Francisco 49ers defense.

Las Vegas Raiders rookie first-round running back
Ashton Jeanty had another mediocre performance on the ground in the team's Week 9 overtime loss to the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, but he salvaged his day for fantasy managers by catching all five of his targets for 47 yards and a touchdown through the air. On the ground, Jeanty handled a team-high 13 carries for 42 yards (3.2 yards per carry). The 21-year-old was able to bounce back coming out of the bye week after he had a season-low six carries for 21 yards and only one catch for 13 yards in the Week 7 blowout loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. It's been slow going for Jeanty the last three games behind a shaky Raiders offensive line, and things won't get any easier on a short week on Thursday Night Football against a stout Denver Broncos defense in Week 10. Through his first eight NFL games, Jeanty has three rushing scores and three receiving touchdowns.
