Pittsburgh Pirates infielder Jared Triolo is taking the day off for Wednesday's series finale against the division-rival St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium. Liover Peguero is starting at shortstop and is hitting ninth against Cardinals right-hander Sonny Gray. Triolo will rest on Wednesday after starting at either shortstop or second base in each of the team's last eight games. The 27-year-old hasn't gotten it going offensively yet in 2025, as he's gone just 8-for-57 (.140) with no home runs, an RBI, a run scored and two stolen bases for the Pirates. Triolo is a glove-first utility infielder for Pittsburgh that lacks any real fantasy upside with his bat, but he could continue to see most of the starts at the 6 with Isiah Kiner-Falefa (hamstring) on the injured list. Peguero is a DFS fade in the nine-hole. He has one hit in three career at-bats against Gray.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Detroit Tigers right-handed pitching prospect Jaden Hamm tossed five one-hit innings of work en route to picking up his first victory of the campaign against Double-A Altoona. In this outing, Hamm served up just two free passes and struck out four. This was a strong bounce-back outing for the Middle Tennessee State product as he posted a high 7.31 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP over his last 16 innings of work. Hamm is currently considered to be the No. 9-ranked prospect in the system on MLB Pipeline. Last summer, Hamm spent his entire season at High-A, where he logged 99 innings to the tune of a 2.64 ERA and a 1.05 WHIP. Fantasy managers should expect Hamm to spend most of this season at Double-A. If he continues to find his footing, he could earn a taste of Triple-A during the second half.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Cleveland Guardians right-handed pitching prospect Aaron Davenport enjoyed his best outing of the young season on Tuesday, as he tossed six shutout innings against Double-A Somerset. In this outing, he allowed just three hits, no walks, and struck out a season-best 10 batters. In his most previous outing, Davenport also tossed six shutout innings but only struck out five batters. Prior to this recent impressive stretch, the 24-year-old held a modest 4.86 ERA with a 1.02 WHIP across his first 16 2/3 innings of work. During this stretch, he struck out just 13 batters and served up three walks. Last summer, Davenport held a 2.85 with a 1.18 WHIP across 142 1/3 innings at Double-A. Given his steady progress, he should be in the mix to reach Triple-A later this summer.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Chicago White Sox outfield prospect Braden Montgomery went 2-for-4 with two home runs during their contest on Tuesday against High-A Bowling Green. The 22-year-old opened the campaign at Low-A but needed just 18 games to get the call to High-A. During his first seven games at High-A, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the White Sox system has posted an impressive .360/.467/.760 slash line with four doubles and a 7:4 K:BB. Earlier in the summer, Montgomery made his professional debut with Low-A Kannapolis and held a .304/.393/.493 slash line with three long balls. The White Sox drafted Montgomery with the 12th overall pick in last year's MLB Draft. Given his steady progression, Montgomery could be in the mix to reach Double-A in the second half of the campaign.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Cincinnati Reds right-handed pitching prospect Chase Petty tossed six no-hit innings on Tuesday evening during his start against Triple-A Omaha. He struck out eight batters and served up three free passes. Petty was promoted last week to make his MLB debut, but stumbled in his first outing in the majors as he allowed seven hits and nine runs across two 1/3 innings of work. However, the No. 6-ranked prospect in the Cincinnati system was able to return to form at Triple-A. Over his last 25 2/3 innings of work at Triple-A, Petty has performed at an elite level, posting a stellar 1.05 ERA with a 0.97 WHIP. During this stretch, he struck out 31 batters and allowed just 10 free passes. Given his impressive production at Triple-A, Petty should be in the mix to return to the majors later this summer.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Minnesota Twins shortstop Carlos Correa went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in his team's 9-1 win over the Baltimore Orioles. His other two hits were singles. The 30-year-old ripped his second homer of the season in the third inning -- a two-run shot -- off of Orioles pitcher Cade Povich to put Minnesota up by five. It left the bat at 109 MPH and traveled a staggering 458 feet. Correa isn't enjoying the same batting average success in 2025 as he did a season ago, when he hit .310, but he's underperforming his .261 xBA (.233). Tuesday marked back-to-back multi-hit efforts for the former first-overall pick, and he's done so three times in his last five appearances.--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Houston Astros second baseman Brendan Rodgers went 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers. The former third-overall pick drove in Houston's first three runs of the game with his first homer of the season, but that would be all they'd push across in the outing. Rodgers has gotten steady playing time over the past week or so and has actually been better off right-handed pitching this season (13-for-54). It may not be evident in the box score just yet, but he's making far better contact in his first stint with the Astros, sporting career-highs in average exit velocity (91.1 MPH) and hard-hit rate (51.2%). He's still striking out at an undesirable 33.8% clip, though.--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

San Francisco Giants outfielder Jung Hoo Lee went 3-for-6 with a home run and three RBI in his team's 14-5 victory over the Chicago Cubs on Sunday. His other two hits were singles, and he scored two runs. Lee put the Giants up 4-0 in the top of the third with his fourth dinger of the season, scoring Willy Adames. The second-year pro's third RBI came during a scoring outburst in the top of the eleventh inning when the Giants sealed Chicago away for good with an impressive nine runs. Lee has been excellent for the team in 2025, batting a crisp .312 and doubling his home run production from a season ago (four) in seven fewer at-bats. How high he'll reach in that figure remains to be seen, but he's definitely figured something out regarding his swing, and statcast supports the gains (.315 xBA).--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Toronto Blue Jays designated hitter George Springer went 2-for-4 with a single, a home run, and two RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels. The 35-year-old got the Blue Jays on the board in the first inning with a two-run blast -- his fourth of the season -- off of Angels pitcher Tyler Anderson, scoring teammate Vladimir Guerrero Jr. It traveled 426 feet and exited the bat at 109.1 MPH, qualifying for the hardest hit ball in the contest. After failing to go yard in nearly a month, Springer is up to two homers over his last four games as he continues to impact the ball well. His other hit in the loss was also well struck (103.2 MPH). He's up to a .316/.419/.541 triple slash with five steals to go along with eight doubles, and a 28:18 K:BB ratio (15.7% walk rate) through 98 at-bats.--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Chicago White Sox infield prospect William Bergolla is performing well during his first taste of Double-A. Through his first 24 games at this level, Bergolla has held a strong .315/.390/.382 slash line with six doubles, seven RBI, and 12 stolen bases. During this stretch, he held a 10:9 K:BB. Last summer, the 20-year-old spent all of his time at the High-A level, split between Jersey Shore and Winston-Salem. Across 89 total games, Bergolla held a .300/.359/.381 slash line with five triples, 12 doubles, and one long ball. Fantasy managers should expect Bergolla to spend most of his time this season at the Double-A level. However, if he continues to produce well, he could open the door for a late-season taste of Triple-A.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Chicago Cubs infield prospect Jefferson Rojas went 3-for-4 during Tuesday's contest against High-A Fort Wayne. This performance also extended his current hitting streak to seven games. During this stretch, the No. 7-ranked prospect in the Cubs system has posted an impressive .429/.452/.750 slash line with a double, a triple, two home runs, and three stolen bases. Through the first 17 games of the High-A regular season, Rojas has been quite productive, holding a .288/.368/.455 slash line. Last summer, Rojas spent most of his time at High-A and has shown consistent progression. Fantasy managers should expect the 20-year-old to get the call to Double-A in the coming weeks, especially if he continues to swing a hot bat. Rojas remains on track for a 2026 MLB debut.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Cleveland Guardians infield prospect Travis Bazzana went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases during their contest against Double-A Somerset on Tuesday evening. Bazzana has begun to find his footing following a slow start to the campaign. Over his last eight games, the former No. 1 overall pick from last year's draft has posted .242/.306/.455 slash line with a double, two home runs, and three stolen bases. However, during his first 18 games of the Double-A regular season, the Oregon State product held a .239 AVG with a mere .380 SLG. After last year's draft, the Guardians assigned Bazzana to High-A Lake County, where he posted a .238/.269/.396 slash line with seven doubles and three home runs. Given his slow start to the season, fantasy managers should not expect Bazzana to contend for an early MLB debut.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Cincinnati Reds infield prospect Sal Stewart went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, and a strikeout during Tuesday's contest against Double-A Knoxville. This was the second time in his previous three contests that Stewart tallied multiple hits. However, prior to this recent surge, Stewart went 0-for-10 at the plate. Before his slump, Stewart swung a hot bat as he held a .313/.389/.475 slash line with seven doubles, two home runs, 13 RBI, and nine stolen bases over the first 21 games of the regular season. Stewart spent his entire 2024 campaign at High-A Dayton and is looking quite comfortable during his first taste of Double-A action. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the No. 81-ranked prospect in the sport as he could eventually earn a late-season promotion to Triple-A.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

New York Yankees shortstop prospect George Lombard Jr. went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts during his Double-A debut on Tuesday evening. Lombard opened the campaign at High-A but was given an early promotion. Through his first 24 games of the campaign at High-A, the 19-year-old looked quite comfortable, holding a .329/.495/.488 slash line with eight doubles, one home run, 11 stolen bases, and an impressive 22:23 K:BB. Last summer, Lombard received his first look at High-A but posted a modest .226/.321/.296 slash line. Given his steady progress, fantasy managers should continue to closely monitor his progression at Double-A. The No. 2-ranked prospect in Bronx could even push for a late-season taste of Triple-A if he continues to produce.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com
