New York Yankees infielder Oswaldo Cabrera (ankle) is considered a long shot to return to the field this season. There is a small window for Cabrera to return, but it remains unlikely at this point. Cabrera has been sidelined since having surgery in mid-May to repair a fractured ankle. The good news is, Cabrera has been walking around without the help of a boot or scooter. However, Cabrera hasn't advanced to any baseball activities yet. The Yankees aren't going to rush anything, so fantasy managers shouldn't count on getting anything from Cabrera for the rest of the season.--Andy Webb
