Not Much Optimism For Curtis Samuel
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (hamstring), who is a game-time decision for Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys, doesn't look likely to play in Week 16. Samuel sat out in Week 15 and is on the wrong side of questionable heading into the Sunday night game. Fantasy managers shouldn't have been considering Samuel for starting lineups to begin with. He's been hurt mostly all year with a groin injury that first cropped up this summer. In only five games played in 2021, the 25-year-old has six catches for 27 yards on nine targets. His first year in D.C. didn't exactly go as planned. With Samuel unlikely to suit up, Adam Humphries and DeAndre Carter will have more opportunities in the passing game behind No. 1 receiver Terry McLaurin.
