Nathan Eovaldi 2-3 Weeks From Pitching In A Game
1 year agoTexas Rangers right-hander Nathan Eovaldi (forearm) is now two to three weeks from pitching in a game, according to manager Bruce Bochy. Eovaldi was scheduled to play catch on Friday. The 33-year-old won't be coming off the 15-day injured list now when he's eligible to return next weekend. It's a bummer for fantasy managers that have been riding Eovaldi all year before he suffered a right-forearm strain. Still, he's worth stashing in all fantasy formats, as he should be able to help you down the stretch in September. In his first year in Texas, he has been dynamic, going 11-3 with an impressive 2.69 ERA (3.24 FIP), 1.01 WHIP, 34 walks and 111 strikeouts in 123 2/3 frames over his 19 starts.
