Montana De La Rosa (11-6-1) has a one-point deduction against Mayra Bueno Silva in the first round to thank for her walking out of the Octagon with the draw on Saturday. During a takedown attempt, Silva grabbed the cage, initiating the point deduction by the referee. In a round easily won by De La Rosa, Silva took the last two rounds, resulting in the bout ending in a draw. Statistically, De La Rosa landed 30 significant strikes (107 total strikes) and was only able to land three of her 12 attempted takedowns. De La Rosa has been on a bit of a skid and needed a win here, but the draw keeps her from going 1-3 in her last four Octagon outings.--Matt Bricker
