Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts issued a positive update on third baseman Max Muncy (knee) on Friday, saying Muncy's "spirits are up" and "he's moving around." Muncy suffered a bone bruise in his left knee on July 2 and is expected to remain out until sometime in August. The 34-year-old was on a weeks-long tear before the injury and landed on the shelf slashing .250/.375/.457 line with 13 home runs and 55 RBI in 315 plate appearances. With Muncy unavailable, the Dodgers have turned to Miguel Rojas and Tommy Edman at the hot corner.--Connor Byrne
