5 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Matt Carpenter (rest) is out of the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the San Francisco Giants. Carpenter has been disappointing with the bat this season, so it's not a surprise to see the Cards trying other options at third base. Tommy Edman will bat seventh and play third base versus righty Dereck Rodriguez. Edman could be a sneaky option with the bat for DFS contests on Tuesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
