Luke Keaschall Launches First Career Home Run
Luke Keaschall wasted little time to make an impact in his first game in the majors since April. On Tuesday evening, the former 49th overall pick went 2-for-4 with a home run and single. The No. 46-ranked prospect on MLB.com would go deep in his first at-bat of the evening and hit a two-run shot off Detroit right-hander Chris Paddack. Later in the contest, Keaschall would knock an RBI single to tally his third RBI of the game. Keaschall missed nearly the entire first half due to a fractured forearm. During his first seven games in Minnesota before the injury, Keaschall posted an impressive .368/.538/.526 slash line with five stolen bases. Given his ability to hit for power and steal bases, he should be viewed as a top target on the waiver wire this week.
