L'Jarius Sneed Should Be OK For Super Bowl
2 years agoKansas City Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed (knee) was limited in practice on Thursday, but he should be OK to play this Sunday in the Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles. Sneed cleared the league's concussion protocol and practiced in full from Monday through Wednesday, but he picked up a knee injury that slowed him down on Thursday. As long as the 26-year-old is able to practice on Friday, he should be active for the Chiefs in the big game. But if he's slowed at all this weekend, rookie Joshua Williams could see extra snaps in KC's secondary. Sneed typically covers the opponent's top wideout, so if healthy, he should see a lot of A.J. Brown in the Super Bowl. Check back on Friday for Sneed's official designation.
