The Los Angeles Lakers selected forward Jaden McDaniels out of the University of Washington with the 28th overall selection in the 2020 NBA Draft, but his rights are headed to Minnesota via Oklahoma City to help complete the Ricky Rubio deal that was struck Wednesday. Known for his tremendous athleticism, McDaniels appears to be a bit of an offensive project when it comes to the NBA game, thereby making him a bit of a finicky fantasy option to begin his rookie year. McDaniels' path to playing time, though, isn't terribly muddled, as Minnesota has playing time available at the power forward slot (Juan Hernangomez, Jake Layman) heading into the '20-21 year, making McDaniels a name to keep an eye on in deeper season-long leagues.--Jesse Borek
