Kyle Tucker Scratched Due To Illness
1 year agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker (illness) was scratched from Friday's starting lineup against the Seattle Mariners after he came in feeling under the weather, according to manager Dusty Baker. Jake Meyers will draw into the starting lineup in center field against Mariners rookie right-hander Bryce Miller. Fantasy managers will need to remove Tucker from their starting lineups on Friday and check back to see if he's feeling better on Saturday. The 26-year-old left-handed-hitting Tucker is one of the best fantasy assets in the game, as he's hitting .297/.377/.526 with a .903 OPS, 24 home runs, a league-leading 92 RBI, 24 stolen bases and 69 runs scored in 441 at-bats in 2023. He homered in back-to-back games entering Friday's action and has six homers and 20 RBI in August.
