Kyle Tucker Loses Arbitration Case
2 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Kyle Tucker lost his salary arbitration case against the team on Thursday and will make $5 million in 2023 instead of the $7.5 million he requested. The $2.5 million gap between Tucker and the Astros was matched by Toronto Blue Jays shortstop Bo Bichette's for the largest among 33 players who exchanged proposed salaries with their teams last month. The 26-year-old Tucker hit .257 with 30 home runs, a career-best 107 RBI and 25 stolen bases while also winning a Gold Glove for his work in the outfield. Tucker has really broken out the last two seasons, as he also hit .294 with 30 long balls and 92 RBI in 2021. He should be considered a top-10 overall fantasy player heading into 2023 drafts.
