Kyle Lowry Posts 13 Points, Seven Assists In Friday's Loss
2 years agoMiami Heat point guard Kyle Lowry made a significant contribution off the bench in Friday's Game 4 loss to Denver, leading the second unit with 13 points and registering seven assists with three rebounds. He was perfect at the line with six attempts and shot 3-for-7 from the field with a 1-for-4 record from outside. Lowry logged 33 minutes in the game, and Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo were the only Heat players to earn more action. The veteran has stepped into a big role over the last couple of games, with Miami's starting backcourt struggling horribly. Gabe Vincent has shot 18.8 percent across the last two games and was minus-21 in 19 minutes Friday, while Max Strus had his second zero-point effort in the Finals. With the series on the line, Lowry could play an even bigger part in Monday's Game 5.
