Kyle Larson has the best starting position among the Hendrick Motorsports Racing drivers with a fourth. This is good news at Watkins Glen especially if Larson and his pit crew have made some good adjustments to his No. 5 car. Larson is fifth-best in the last two appearances at Watkins Glen with two top-tens and an average place of seventh. Keep in mind that no one has raced here since 2019. The 2020 race was cancelled due to COVID. His second at Austin and win at Sonoma put Larson squarely among the contenders for Sunday's race.
