9 months agoToronto Blue Jays right-hander Kevin Gausman (shoulder) played catch in camp on Tuesday and felt good. He will play catch again on Wednesday and is currently considered day-to-day with right-shoulder fatigue. Fellow starter Alek Manoah (shoulder) is dealing with the same thing and will play catch on Tuesday for the second straight day. We should know more on the statuses of both pitchers by the end of the week. Gausman, 33, is a fantasy ace after making his second All-Star team in the last three years in 2023 by going 12-9 with a 3.16 ERA (2.97 FIP) and 1.18 WHIP with 55 walks and a league-high 237 strikeouts in 185 innings over 31 starts last year. His injury makes him a bit more of an injury risk in upcoming fantasy drafts, but he hasn't yet been ruled out for Opening Day.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
