Kansas City Chiefs left tackle Josh Simmons (personal) will rejoin the team in a few weeks, according to ESPN's Nate Taylor. Simmons has been away from the team since Week 6 while handing a "family situation." The first-round pick played nearly every snap before temporarily stepping away from football, and he should return to an every-snap role when his personal matter is resolved. Simmons won't play on Monday night against the Commanders, and it seems unlikely that he'll be available for Week 9 against the Buffalo Bills. With the Chiefs on bye in Week 10, we could be looking at Week 11 as a reasonable target for Simmons' return.--Andersen Pickard
