Josh Norman Unlikely To Be Released
The Washington Redskins are unlikely to release cornerback Josh Norman as a post-June 1 cut. The 31-year-old is scheduled to count $14.5 million against the salary cap in 2019, with none of it guaranteed. The team would save $11.5 million against the salary cap and eat $3 million in dead money this season and next if they were to release him in June. Norman has been somewhat of a disappointment in D.C., but he had seven turnovers in 2018 and has missed just two games in three years with Washington. The depth behind the shutdown corner also isn't the greatest in Washington.Read More News
