Josh Lowe Confident He'll Be Ready For Opening Day
10 months agoTampa Bay Rays outfielder Josh Lowe (hip) said his left hip is feeling better. He will be re-evaluated on Tuesday and could resume baseball activities in the next couple days at camp. Lowe remains confident that he will be ready and full-go before Opening Day on March 28. The 26-year-old left-handed hitter has been shut down the last couple of days due to left-hip inflammation, but it shouldn't keep him from being ready for the start of the 2024 regular season. He should be considered a low-end No. 2 fantasy outfielder in upcoming drafts due to his power/speed combination as a regular for Tampa. The former 13th overall pick in 2016 broke out in his first full year in the big leagues last year, hitting .292/.335/.500 with an .835 OPS, 20 home runs, 83 RBI, 32 stolen bases and 71 runs scored in 135 games played.
