Josh Jacobs Doubtful For Week 3
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (ankle) missed practice all week and is doubtful to play in Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins. Jacobs missed the Week 2 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and doesn't look close to returning this Sunday. Fantasy managers should plan to be without him for the second straight game. Offensive guard Richie Incognito (calf) has also been ruled out. Kenyan Drake saw more snaps (71.2 percent) than Peyton Barber (28.8) last week with Jacobs out, but Barber had six more carries than Drake. The Dolphins have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to RBs through two weeks, including 13 receptions, so both Drake and Barber could produce for fantasy managers. Drake is more attractive in PPR leagues (six targets in Week 2), while Barber is a touchdown-dependent flex in standard-scoring formats.
