Tremaine Edmunds Dealing with Soft-Tissue Issue
Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson divulged that linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (undisclosed) is dealing with a soft-tissue injury, though the affected body part was not detailed. Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reported the news. Johnson also notes that the issue isn't a long-term concern. Edmunds is entering his third season with Chicago and has notched 103 or more tackles in each of his seven professional campaigns. It's good news that the issue is minor, but it's worth noting that the 27-year-old led the Bears' defense in snaps last year, and it'd be a big blow to the team if this lingered into the season. If he's healthy, Edmunds figures to be a good bet for another year of viable fantasy production.
