Caden Durham Withdraws from Transfer Portal, Will Stay at LSU
LSU running back Caden Durham entered the NCAA transfer portal on January 3, but On3's Pete Nakos reports that he officially withdrew his name on Tuesday. The rising junior is now expected to stay with the program under new head coach Lane Kiffin. The Oklahoma native has played in 24 games for the Tigers over the last two seasons, totaling 295 touches for 1,609 yards and 11 total touchdowns. He flashed as a true freshman before regressing in 2025, in large part due to shaky offensive line play in Baton Rouge. LSU currently has three transfer running backs committed to the school, in Rod Gainey Jr. (Charlotte), Dilin Jones (Wisconsin), and Raycine Guillory (Utah). With Durham staying put, he should be the favorite to handle the most carries in Kiffin's offense in 2026.
