Jordan Westburg Not In Wednesday's Lineup
6 months agoBaltimore Orioles infielder Jordan Westburg (hip) is out of the team's starting lineup for Wednesday's contest in the Bronx against the division-rival New York Yankees. Westburg bruised his left hip during Tuesday's game when he collided on the infield with Yankees outfielder Juan Soto, forcing him to leave the 4-2 loss early. It's not a serious injury, though, so the 25-year-old could be back in the starting lineup as early as Thursday's series finale with the Yankees. Ramon Urias will start at third base and bat eighth on Wednesday against Yankees right-hander Gerrit Cole, who is making his 2024 debut. Urias is actually hitting .462 with a 1.308 OPS and a solo home run in 13 career at-bats against Cole, but he'll still be one to avoid in DFS lineups at third base.
