Jordan Poyer Not Attending Offseason Workouts
Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer was not in attendance when the team began their voluntary offseason workouts this week, and it comes as he's seeking a long-term contract extension. Poyer is coming off an All-Pro season in which he was the only player in the NFL to record five sacks and three interceptions, finishing with 91 tackles and eight tackles for loss. The soon-to-be 31-year-old is heading into the final year of his contract and is set to make a base salary of $5.6 million in 2022, which ranks 10th among safeties. Poyer and his new agent, Drew Rosenhaus, have approached the Bills about a new extension for Poyer, who would like to retire as a Bill. Whether Poyer has an extension before 2022 or not, he'll be a starting defensive back in IDP leagues.Read More News
