5/30:San Diego Padres starter Joey Lucchesi (hip) is throwing from 150 feet but will likely miss two more turns in the rotation. Lucchesi also threw off a mound earlier this week. Out since May 15 with a hip strain, Padres manager Andy Green believes Lucchesi will need a rehab assignment before being activated. Prior to the injury, the upstart rookie had been the Padres best pitcher with a 3.23 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 9.1 K/9. Slated for a mid-June return, Lucchesi could be a worthwhile pickup for owners with available disabled list slots.--Andrew Le - RotoBaller
