4 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Joe Musgrove will make his final intrasquad start this Saturday, which likely means he'll pitch on Opening Day on July 24 against the Cardinals. The Pirates could slot him fourth in the starting rotation to have him start the home opener on July 28, but that would require another start next week on four days of rest, which makes little sense. The 27-year-old right-hander's 2019 numbers would've looked a lot better if not for a rough month of May, but he saw improvement in his velocity in the second half of the season and is worth taking a chance on late in mixed league drafts to round out your fantasy rotation.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
