Miami Marlins third baseman Connor Norby (wrist) is expected to come off the 10-day injured list on Friday. Norby has been on the shelf with a broken left hamate bone since July 12 and had to undergo surgery to repair it. The 25-year-old has played in 72 games this season and hit .241/.289/.364 with six homers, 26 RBI, 33 runs scored, and seven stolen bases in 273 plate appearances. Maximo Acosta and Javier Sanoja have been splitting time at third base lately, but Norby should return as the starter at the hot corner. He went a sizzling 10-for-25 with three HRs over eight games and 29 plate appearances during his Triple-A rehab assignment.--Connor Byrne
