Miguel Vargas Exits with Wrist Injury
Miguel Vargas (wrist) was forced to make an early exit from Thursday's game against the New York Yankees. Vargas was attempting to make a catch at first base when Yankees' outfielder Aaron Judge ran into his arm which bent back his wrist. Vargas exited the contest and finished the game 1-for-2 with a home run and four RBI. The team is calling the injury a wrist contusion, but Vargas is likely going to undergo further imaging. For now, fantasy managers should consider Vargas as day-to-day. Curtis Mead moved over to first base and could see increased time at the cold corner if Vargas is forced to miss time.
