New York Mets manager Mickey Callaway has confirmed that starting pitcher Jacob deGrom will make his scheduled start on Monday. After reportedly hyperextending his elbow on May 2, deGrom's availability for the near future had come into question. deGrom threw a bullpen session Saturday to test out his throwing elbow and everything seemed to be in order for Callaway to make this call. The Mets have possibly been the worst organization in recent memory in dealing with injury management, but with the offseason changes they have made, one can only hope for the best. deGrom should be started in all leagues as always.--Kev Mahserejian
