Jackson Chourio Promoted To Triple-A
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfield prospect Jackson Chourio has been promoted from Double-A Biloxi to Triple-A Nashville on Monday after he finished the season for Biloxi by hitting .280/.336/.467 with an .803 OPS, 22 home runs, 23 doubles, three triples, 89 RBI, 43 stolen bases and 84 runs scored in 122 games. He is only 19 years old yet is already the No. 2 prospect in all of baseball, according to MLB Pipeline. Blessed with plenty of physical abilities, Chourio is likely to open the 2024 season back in the minors at Nashville, but more solid performances could find him in the big leagues sooner than later. Since July 6, Chourio had top-10 ranks in Double-A in OPS (.939) and slugging percentage (.559) while sporting a 14% strikeout rate (96th percentile). Despite being the fourth-youngest hitter in the league, he needs to be stashed in all dynasty/keeper leagues.
