Jacardia Wright has Strong Preseason Opener
Seattle Seahawks running back Jacardia Wright found the end zone in his first preseason game and finished with seven carries for 34 yards, while working in the second half with fellow rookie Jalen Milroe at quarterback. Additionally, Wright had a 45-yard run called back to a Brady Russell holding penalty. Wright is an undrafted rookie out of Missouri State and is trying to play his way onto the roster. However, Seattle is stacked at running back with Kenneth Walker, Zach Charbonnet, George Holani, and Damien Martinez all expected to be ahead of Wright on the depth chart. Wright showed enough sizzle to get some attention, though, and he could be an interesting option for Seattle or another team to stash on their practice squad as a depth option.
