Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Ilya Samsonov (upper body) is considered day-to-day and may not be available for Tuesday's meeting with the Edmonton Oilers. The Russian netminder was a late scratch on Saturday against the Nashville Predators when he was scheduled to start. Adin Hill ended up playing for a second consecutive day, delivering a 23-save performance in a 3-1 victory. Samsonov has put in solid work as Hill's backup all season, posting a 16-9-3 record. He has picked up two shutouts while allowing 2.79 goals with a .892 save percentage. Akira Schmid has been called up from the minors to step into the lineup on Tuesday if needed.--Taavi Pailk
