Hyeseong Kim, Michael Kopech Reinstated From Injured List
Hyeseong Kim (shoulder) and right-handed reliever Michael Kopech (knee) from the injured list with rosters expanding on Monday, according to Sonja Chen of MLB.com. Kim is returning from the 10-day IL, while Kopech is back from the 60-day IL. Kim has been out since July 28 with shoulder bursitis and will return to the Dodgers as a super-utility player. He saw time at shortstop, second base and center field before his injury and could also be an option in left field for the Blue down the stretch and into the playoffs with Michael Conforto struggling mightily. The hard-throwing Kopech has been out since having surgery on July 1 to fix the meniscus in his right knee. Kopech struggled in just 5 1/3 big-league innings this season, so expect the Dodgers to ease him into high-leverage bullpen situations the rest of the year.
